A rare 20-year-old Renault Grand Espace privilege petrol 3.0 quad-cam V6 in very good condition, currently showing about 51,600 miles (see item below dated 04/08/06)

It's not a show car, there are odd scuffs, marks, odd paint blisters on the front bonnet, one wheel has some flakey paint.

What makes this Espace seriously rare and desirable is the quad-cam 3 litre 24v V6, as fitted to the Atlantique and to the Avantime, having almost 200bhp and nearly 200 lbs/ ft torque. This makes the Grand Espace an effortless and powerful cruiser. Despite its enormous bulk, it only weighs about 1650kg.

There is service history with the car with details of some expenditure over the years including some major items like the gearbox rebuild in 2010. Note the works in 2006 where it appears some components from the dash were replaced and the mileage reset.

The third generation Espace arrived in December 1996, with the long wheelbase Grand Espace coming to market in the beginning of 1998. The most notable feature of the Espace III was the radically futuristic interior (including an elongated and centrally mounted dashboard, digital speedometer and radio/CD display).The Espace III featured a plastic (GRP) body over a galvanised independent steel chassis.
