Beautiful 3-owner example complete with all books, luggage, tools, service records, keys, and window sticker! Only 43,085 carefully driven miles with timing belt service just completed less than 500 miles ago! A superb investment piece in a fast-moving sportscar market!

Nearly any auto enthusiast can recognize the always-distinctive Ferrari Testarossa from just about any angle! Built from 1984-1991, the Italian term Testarossa stood for "redhead" in English translation making this Pininfarina-design yet another reflection of their admiration of a woman's beauty! And thus, the magnificent V12 engine's cam covers are painted red in recognition!

This gorgeous 1986 Ferrari Testarossa 'Monospecchio", or high mirror, is finished in desirable Rossa Corsa with Tan Leather interior! Only three meticulous owners have cared for this automobile for the past 35 years accumulating just 43,085 miles along the way. Features include 4.9L Flat 12-cylinder engine producing 380 horsepower with gate-shifted 5-speed transmission, climate-controlled air conditioning, 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows & mirrors, power door locks, original 16" OZ knock-off light alloy wheels with BF Goodrich tires, leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel, Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD sound system, and red carpeted floor mats!

This special example sold new from Gaston Andrey Ferrari of Framingham Inc. to the original Waltham, Massachusetts owner in July 1986 and stayed in his care for 33 years! He would finally part with his treasured car at that Greenwich Concours d'Elegance in August 2018 when it caught the attention of a Connecticut collector. At that time, it had just recently had a full engine-out 30K timing belt service performed by European MotorSports Sales & Service that included the timing belt, tensioner bearings, rebuilt water pump, camshaft seals & cover gaskets, valve lash adjustment, all drive belts, new battery, 4-wheel alignment, fuel filters, spark plugs, distributor caps & rotors, air filter, exhaust gaskets, all new fluids including engine oil/filter & coolant. This complete major service was completed in September 2017 at 42,596 miles and has traveled just 489 miles since. This new Connecticut owner would have P1 Motorcars of Stamford, CT replace the steering rack and tie rods, install new fuel accumulators, fresh NGK spark plugs, service the air condition, and perform a new 4-wheel alignment in June 2020.

It would trade hands one more time to a new owner in May 2021 who is only selling to pursue something a better suited to his body size. The Testarossa Monospecchio offered here is complete with all original owner's manuals, two original keys, complete Ferrari-branded tool kit, spare fuse & light bulb holder, spare belts, and large tool bag with all tire changing equipment. All included is the factory original 4-piece leather luggage with travel bags, original window sticker, dealership invoice, first MA title registration receipt, and all service records from brand new!

The exotic import marketplace continues to find itself on a tremendous increase for sports car collectors. It seems Ferrari's may be on the forefront of these trends. Make no mistake that any V12 powered example has already proven to be the vehicle to own as time passes by. Our March 1986 built example offered here has had just three documented owners from new and continues to show impressively in all respects. Please feel free to call with any additional questions or schedule an appointment to see this beautiful Testarossa in person! Thanks for looking!
