IT IS WHAT IT IS , A 39 YEAR OLD CLASSIC CAR !!
BANK TRANSFER ONLY ! NO PAYPAL!! NO CASH !!! Mk 2 Ford Granada 2.8 Ghia X 11 months mot showing 38,000 miles, there is an mot from 1993 showing 6573 miles and paperwork from 1997 showing 15,000 miles so please make up your own mind about the authenticity of the mileage.
This was my late fathers car for almost 5 years, he used it mainly to go to classic car shows, some of you may have seen it about .it was parked up in 2019 due to my father being ill , it has been ran and moved around regularly during this time ,sadly its now time to sell it on to a new caring owner.
I would love to keep it unfortunately I no longer have anywhere to dry store it ie carport or garage.
I think it would be shame to just leave out in the elements all the time .
It does come with some old mots and quite a lot of reciepts for parts/work that has been carried out on the car .
It comes with 2 keys and I have the v 5 present and in my name
Tax and MOT Exempt next year when it becomes 40 years old !!!
It has 5 new tyres fitted to 5 matching alloys
Weber carb fitted, manual choke fitted
This car is 39 years old and it has NOT been fully restored, so its NOT going to be in show winning condition
No the air con doesn't work( no pump present )
There is lacquer peel/sun damage to roof and boot lid, some rust on the wing tops and the bottom corners of the rear window.
The front and rear crank seals have been replaced but there is still an oil drip from both .
Please bear in mind the age of this vehicle and the rarity of it .This vehicle is not in showroom condition!!
But it is a very nice example of a useable classic that will possibly need ongoing maintenance as most classics do. Therefore if you don't have the skills or capabilities to cope with this or the money to pay someone that does .please just enjoy the pictures and move on.
(please note that this car hasn't really been used much or done any miles since 2019 this may be something to consider when collecting if you have a long way to go)
