First registered July 1968 (F Reg) this truly excellent Daimler 250 V 8 Auto, having covered only 37,300 miles recorded from new, see image of Mo T History. It has been in the hands of its last keeper since 2013 when it was supplied to him by the prestigious Kensington dealer Greame Hunt. Finished in Opalescent Gunmetal with Navy Hide the car drives wonderfully and has nice surge of power unlike the small engine Mark 2 Jaguars which, in our opinion, are rather docile. Supplied initially to Mr F Welters of Flackwell Heath, Bucks by The Parade Garage Bourne End The Parade Garage serviced the car six times between supply and 1970 by which time the Daimler had recorded 8,450 miles, this information is based on the original Daimler Maintenance Voucher Booklet. The same voucher booklet and the Daimler Passport to service show that between 1970 and 2000, (the next thirty years) a further 24,000 miles and ten services were recorded across both records. The Mo T History supported by old certificates is made up to date with an entry for every year save between 1976 and 1989 when we understand the car was stored for part of this time. There are some other invoices on file from more recent ownership. Kept beautifully over the years and we believe un-restored, but according to a previous engineers report and valuation given fresh paint in the mid 1990 s. This is super original and genuine car with a very comprehensive history file. One of our Directors collected the car and drove almost 200 miles back to our Pulborough base the Daimler performed without fault and in his words was "An absolute joy to drive". We will supply the car with a fresh twelve months Mo T following a thorough inspection in our workshops. Additionally, we will provide three months warranty.
