EXTERIOR
Finished in attractive Topaz Blue, this low mileage E46 M3 coupe presents handsomely against our studio backdrop. The paintwork is in truly fantastic condition throughout, presenting with a lovely deep shine and subtle metallic flake on close inspection. Aside from one or two light frontal stone chips there are very few blemishes to report. The bumpers are free from any scuffs or scrapes and the car is arrow-straight along both sides. All of the external trims remain in excellent order with no wear, corrosion, or sun damage to report. The lights are also nice and clear with no signs of any moisture ingress.

INTERIOR
The airy cabin is trimmed in supple Grey Nappa leather, a really nice contrast to the exterior paintwork. The electrically adjustable sports seats are further equipped with lumbar support and electronic back width adjustment, the upholstery still retaining a great matte finish with no major wear or unsightly discolouration to speak of. Other commonly worn items such as the steering wheel and sat nav screen are remarkably well preserved, with an excellent texture to the leather and perfect scratch-free finish respectively. The pale carpets are equally fresh having always been protected by tailored BMW mats, and at the rear the seats appear to have seen very little use.

ENGINE
The S54 is an iconic six-cylinder powerplant revving to 8,000rpm with an intoxicating 'rasp' at higher revs. Mated to this is BMW's Sequential M Gearbox (SMG), ensuring an ultra-fast shift through all six gears with a direct and consistent flow of power at all engine speeds. Out on the road this particular example still feels really tight and is probably one of the best SMG M3s we have driven of late.

The car is accompanied by an all-BMW main dealer service history with stamps in the book at the following mileages: 1,242 - 12,315 - 25,188 - 28,639 - 51,408 miles - and most recently at 65,780 miles in October 2020. Since arriving at 4 Star the car has been fully inspected for the new keeper's peace of mind. The underside remains in very good order and the technician did confirm that there are no signs of any cracks to the boot floor. The current MOT is valid until September 2021.

WHEELS
The M3 sits on its original 18-inch M double-spoke alloys, all in perfect unmarked condition having previously been refurbished to a very high standard. The wheels are shod in premium Michelin Pilot Sport tyres with ample tread remaining at each corner. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition, stopping the car quickly and in a straight line.

HISTORY
First registered in September 2002 this superb M3 coupe has driven just 66k miles in the hands of only 4 keepers since new. The History File is complete with the original BMW document wallet, all owner's manuals, the service booklet, spare keys, a raft of maintenance invoices and numerous past MOT certificates further verifying the car's low mileage. All in all, a truly excellent example of the fast-appreciating and highly sought after E46 M3 coupe.
