Coming from three decades of current ownership where the car has been always looked after & maintained without regard to cost. The car is now to be sold due to the advancing years of the current owner.

This car sports very elgant Vanden Plas coachwork in the pillarless format with a conventional opening front door & rear hinged back door. This configuartion makes the car very very easy for ingress & egress given the complete absence of the B pillar. These aluminium bodied Vanden Plas cars are in our opinion way way ahead of the more ubiqitous Park Ward cars & are of a different quality & style all together.

The car is finished in pale grey paintwork similar to the other concours example we have in stock. Grey Leather & grey carpets complete the ensemble both being in super patinated conditon. The car whilst not concours is very very tidy throughout & more inportantly is very useable. A Large sunroof is fitted allowing for semi alfresco motoring on clement sunny days.

A tool tray is located in the boot lid & has some of the small tools in situ. The original under trays are still in place in the engine bay. The best part abo this car is actually driving it. The steering is direct & free of any looseness or play. The engine is powerful, responsive & shows a surprising turn of performance. A Tim Payne overdrive unit has been fitted making for very relaxed cruising at high speeds reflecing the moniker of "The silent Sports Car." This without doubt is a car that needs to be driven to appreciate how well it drives.

Assorted papers & bills come with the car including a rather lovely period sales brochure from Harold Radford through whoms hands the car passed early on in its life.
