First registered 19 th September 1983 and one of only 493 carburettor turbo cars built,so a truly rare example.
The Bentley underwent a full restoration in 2001 and has only done 17000 miles since and consisted of the following Body
Complete Bare metal respray.
New Door seals
All woodwork relacquered
New Carpets
All brightwork rechromed/polished.
Twin headlamp conversion
Alloy wheels fitted.
Mechanics.
Gearbox Rebuilt
New Torque converter
New ac compressor
New oil cooler
Carb rebuilt
New drive shaft gaitors
Reconditioned fuel pump
Reconditioned ecu.
New turbocharger
New exhaust system.
Also new engine mounts,bump stop rubbers,dipswitch etc.
Lots of paper work and receipts for parts.
The chap I purchased the car from had recently spent over 1 k on some recommissioning work on the brakes and the the rear suspension. It has also had a new water pump And has a brand new battery and 6000 mile service including an oil and filter,distributor cap,rotor arm and air filter.
Recently it has also had 3 window motors replaced,the oil pressure warning light sensor and electric seats repaired.
I'm trying to give a very honest description to save everyone's time. These cars are starting to creap up in value.
I am thinning out my classic car collection and have decided to offer the car for sale,whilst the car has had lots of work done,The full rebuild was now of course 20 years ago and the bodywork would benefit from some attention to a few bits and pieces here and there including the leather seats. The aircon needs a regas due to standing and the radio needs replacing.
This is a car that has had an absolute fortune spent on it and is a great investment,I am pricing it very sensibly so no stupid offers please,after all it is a Bentley! A great opportunity to get on the Bentley ladder and improve is as you use it, it's on the road and MOT'd. Viewing possible but car currently in storage, so would have to be by arrangement.
