1275 GT. 1980. 1330 cc A Series. 120 bhp at wheels.
This is a very quick mini which i have owned and restored for the last 8 years. Sadly due to personal cicumstances i am having to sell her. She is very quick and a lot of fun. Can be used as a daily drive but nowadays i use her at weekends to attend mini and classic car shows and to do the odd action day at castle coombe where she holds her own over proper race minis and cars that are lightened and stripped for the track. It wouldn't take much to turn her into a proper track car. Included in the sale are the original seats and seat belts as well as the buckets and harnesses.
There is 11 months MOT and 6 Month Tax
The following a a list of what has been done and what is on the mini Recent piston rings and rebuild by renowned grass track engine builder DNG. Twin HS 4 Carbs. Kent 286 cam. big valve head (stage 3 1/2). double valve springs. straight cut drop gears. central oil pickup. Lightened flywheel. orange diaphragm. race clutch. full Maniflow centre exit exhaust. oil cooler. oil catch tank. Samco hoses with stainless clips. Electronic ignition. Cobra Monaco pro bucket seats. Willans 3 point harnesses. Solid mount front Subframe. Sports cones. Spax Krypton adjustable shocks. hi-lo's. 1. 5 degree negative front camber arms. adjustable tie bars. adjustable rear camber and toe brackets (set up by F 2 race engineer). It also has the very rare 2 year only option rear clubman over riders. i personally havent seen another clubman with these on but they must be out there.
Comes with gold 12"x 5 Superlite wheels with A 539 tyres (2 New)
No major rust as restored around 5 years back with inner and outer sills. front floor sections. drivers front wing. both A panels. rear valance. battery box. boot floor repair and a full respray. Has been stored in a garage and only really used in the summer months for shows over the last few years! There are a few little spots here and there that need attention to make it perfect.
