Matt black with red interior. This is probably one of the best sorted 60's trucks around. I imported this early 2010 when it was extensively rebuilt and upgraded over trhe course of 2010/2011.
The body is in excellent shape. New floors and cab corners had been installed in the USA. along with new doors and fenders. new windscreen and seals. The body and excellent buck resprayed in matt black epoxy.
As soon as I got the truck I installed a power disc brake conversion. and rebuilt the rear brake assemblies. At the same time new drop spindles were installed. also lowering springs front and rear. We took 4 1/2" out of the front and 6" out of the rear - This truck is slammed!
The suspension was totally rebuilt with new track rod ends. new shock absorbers especially for lowered trucks. rear super tracker bar. new brake lines. you name it.
Window regulators were rebuilt. new door handles and locks. new ignition barrel. new Sun Super Retro tach along with all new instruments. The interior was retrimmed in bright red.
The 454 motor was stripped and rebuilt. rebored then new flat top pistons and rings. reground crank. all new bearings. edelbrock performer cam and lifter set. edelbrock airgap manifold and a new Holley 750 electric choke carburettor. New HEI distributor. all leads. guides etc etc All ancillaries were renewed such as starter. alternator. fuel pump. etc etc.
The old TH400 soon let go and so a new super duty 700R4 4 speed auto transmission with a lock up torque converter was installed. The transmission is a Bowtie Overdrives level 3 transmission and so is more than capable of handling the 454. A Lokar custom shifter is installed and this truck cruises at 60mph and 2000RPM!!!
Keeping this monster cool is a Dewitts Corvette aluminium 3 row radiator and twin Spal cooling fans.
Tyres were replaced and fitted to genuine NASCAR inertia advantage wheels - check the ovals. this is what the big guns are running!
The heater was missing and was replaced. Since then the handbrake system has been renewed.
The wood bed is superb. but make no bones about it. this is not a varnished unuseable bed. this truck can and does haul - whats the use of a truck you can't put anything in!
There is a nice 4 speaker Sony hifi with an Alpine amplifier.
I put very few miles on this and then sold it. it is now available again and has been well maintained.
This truck is badass. You will be the envy of everywhere you go. I have yet to meet a car guy or girl that isn't all over it. Old ladies will hate you. kids will think you are some sort of super hero. everyone else will just stare.
It will make your life better.
Overall condition is good. the truck has covered around 3000 miles since the rebuild and as I say is not a show queen but a good useable truck. and an absolute weapon.

We can take another Corvette in part exchange. or I will deal on an early Mustang. Porsche 911/356 or e-type coupe. but we must follow ebay rules throughout.
