1992 1. 3i spi Mini Cooper - Full Rebuild

This little car has undergone major cosmetic and mechanical overhauls. as you can see from the list below the body has nearly all been replaced. all the new panels were seem welded and strengthened. we didn't just cut holes out and patch it up. we cut all the lower sections out and put new pieces in.  

Once the shell was finished it had 5 litres of under seal put underneath and all the joints. this shell is stronger than a standard shell and will last another 20 years no problem. the motor was stripped and rebuilt using all new inner parts and runs very well. all drive train consumables were also replaced along the way e. g. bearings. bushes. joints. steering joints etc. .  

It has the original half leather interior. also in good order. we decided to add the mini sport look with the wheels and extended arches and the car was then base coated in Tahiti blue then coated in several layers of clear. the cars has done around 600 miles since the rebuild and has been mot'd twice to make sure all has settled in nicely.

This is ready to be used daily once again. these classic little minis are fast becoming collectors cars and one in this condition will always be sort after.

There is around 380 hours of restoration put into this car with around £4. 00 spent on the parts alone. there are a few more pictures during the build showing its progress.
