This Is A 1970 Oldsmobile 442 (REAL 442 344 VIN CAR) That Was At The Body Shop (In Kingsville MD. ) In The Paint Both Prepped And Ready For Paint. When A Big Storm Came Thru (June 2013) And Flooded (FRESH WATER) The Body Shop And The Paint Booth. The Insurance Co. Totaled The 442. The Owner Of The 442 Was Not Happy With The Settlement With The Insurance So They Pulled The Engine And Transmission. Booster And Master Cylinder. And All The Parts Removed From The Car To Paint It. Had A New Vinyl Top And Windshield Installed Just Before The Flood. The Auction Lot Put A Dent In The Right Rear Quarter Panel Just Above Rear Bumper. The Owner Had The Machine Shop That Rebuilt The Matching Number Engine Disassemble It And Wash It Out And Make Sure It Was OK. So The Engine Is Apart. The TH-400 Transmission Got Hung Up Between The Transmission Cross Member/Mount And Transmission Tunnel And They Broke The Bell Housing On The TH-400. Transmission Was A Fresh Rebuild So It Needs A Trans Case. Has All New Disc Brake. Rotors. Calipers. Braided Stainless Brake Hoses On Front And New Wheel Cylinders. Shoes And Brake Drums.
