THIS VAN WAS A SOLID US IMPORT BASE VEHICHLE WHICH HAS HAD A THOROUGH GROUND UP RESTORATION

The van was a very solid dry state base vehicle imported from the states. It has since had a complete renovation most obviously the bodywork which has had a full respray in the original and rare marinagelb orange/yellow.

The original paintwork had faded and the van needed a few minor repairs to get it ready for paint. the joy of starting with a solid vehicle rather than patching up an old UK van. The respray was a full door off. roof off job with all door shuts painted as well. they have done an amzing job and the van really looks stunning now.

The bumpers roof and wheels were all painted at the same time and the underneath waxoiled to protect it against UK roads and weather.

The van has had a full engine service and it runs very well and goes surprisingly well for a van with a full camping interior as it is the powerful 2 litre fuel injected engine

The brakes and running gear have all been checked over parts replaced where needed oils changed. adjusted. cleaned greased up etc.

New boge shock absorbers all round. new anti roll bar bushes new cv joints and boots etc

The van has had new door. window and pop top rubbers fitted all round using best quality vw heritage parts

The interior of the van is a real timewarp and is in very good original condition

The van has 240v hook up. a fridge built in and a sink

The original table is with the van as well as the bunk which fits accross the front 2 seats

The passenger seat swivels for when you are parked up to create more space inside

The pop top canvas is in good condition as is the upstairs bed

The van does require some very minor finishing off jobs to make perfect such as one front seat retriming. this will be done in the next week

Just completed a 100 mile plus round trip to the Volksword show without a hitch. lovely drive comfortable at 65-70 mph hills not a major issue and only used just under half a tank of fuel £20!!!

First serious person to look at the van will buy you will not be dissapointed
