The car was subject of a three-year nut and bolt restoration and is featured in a striking two-tone combination of Wineberry and White Pearl with matching Pearl White vinyl seat and door panels with Wine colored cloth inserts. grey floor and rear cargo area carper. and White vinyl headliner. Luxury features include tilt wheel. Vintage Air ice-cold AC system. American Auto Sound AM/FM/CD with six-pack CD changer and Clarion APX 400-4 amplifier and four speakers. The dash is upgraded with added Sun Pro gauges and Raingear delay wiper system. All brightwork has been re-plated and the front grill. rear license plate holder. rear quarter. taillight and hood emblems have been gold anodized. Mechanically. the car has been thoroughly upgraded for performance. safety and reliability. The GM Ram Jet 350 CI crate engine is fuel injected and delivers 350 HP through a 700 R 4 automatic gearbox with a B&N Star Shifter. At the rear is a 1979 Trans Am 10-bolt differential with Positraction. The suspension has been lowered with custom leaf and coil springs. and there are disc brakes all around with an accustom power brake system. Additional mechanical specifications include: four core radiator. transmission cooler. aftermarket power steering pump with remote mounted polished aluminum fluid reservoir. stainless steel brake and fuel lines with Aeroquip fittings. chrome water pump. dual 2 ½” aluminized exhaust system. polyurethane suspension bushings. front sway bar. and KYB shocks. The beautiful American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are shod with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires sized 215/60 R 15 to the front and 225/60 R 15 to the rear. The engine compartment and undercarriage are nicely detailed. The engineering and craftsmanship are first-rate and the car is a delight to drive.
