You are looking at very super nice. clean. reliable and relatively rare 1995 SL 500! This car gets looks and compliments at nearly every gas station and it is easy to see why The R 129 is one of the best body styles MB ever came out with for the SL class. What makes this SL outstanding and cars apart from others on e Bay is the condition and the Lorinser package and rare pristine PANO roof This car is in great condition. I have busted my butt replacing worn parts(which I will try to list all) and got this car to be both reliable and beautiful. First of all. it had a respray two years ago with the original Imperial red paint and just looks amazing. In addition. it has a rare PANO roof( only 6800 in the US in 95) and it is a pleasure to drive and see a clear blue sky above. If you could even find a pano top now it would cost you at least $3000. People who have them for the R 129 ask a premium for them. Also. you will notice the Lorinser package LM 5 20 inch wheels as well as badging. These aren't knockoffs! They are true Lorinser LM 5 s and you will see they go for about$1000 apiece. Everything works on the car and absolutely NO CEL the car has had a tone of parts replaced including $6000 worth of hydraulic top cylinders. All 12 cylinders were rebuilt by TOP Hydraulics and come with a life time warranty against leaking. If you went to a dealership and had just one cylinder replaced it would cost you $1000. The car blows ice cold A/C and the stereo cas been replaced with a period correct Continental with Blue tooth for hands free calling. It works flawlessly and it was important to have the OEM look instead of dome god awful modern unit with animated dolphins or some crap! I have replace the upper and lower wiring harnesses with new Delphi harnesses. If you know anything about these cars. MB used biodegradable wire and the harnesses begin breaking down after about 15 years. Ask a MB enthusiast and they will tell you the disastrous electrical issues they start having after time. Not this car! The harnesses are new. I have replace the throttle body harness as well the fuel pump. cam position sensor. both destibutore caps and rotors. new cross drilled rotors and pads. new spark plugs. new spark plug wires. brand new fuel injectors. new serpentine belt new radiator new washer fluid reservoir new shift linkage bushing new front tie rods new wood steering wheel new wood shift knob. I am probably forgetting something but you get the point and I have receipts. The convertible top is in good condition and is not all clouded and yellow. I am simply selling car to make room for a jeep. Plain and simple. I have two other vehicles and do not need three Ask me any questions you want. Please no bids if you are not serious. I don't have the time for BS bidders. Also. you must
