1943 GMC G80 for sale
Current customer rating:
From the world famous Ponderosa Ranch at Lake Tahoe Nevada. home of Bonanza TV show. this tour bus / taxi was used up until the ranch closed in 2006 to shuttle thousands of tourists to view the famous attraction.
This is the largest piece of fan memorabilia / souvenir that any fan will ever have! It is painted to look like a fire engine and actually has 1918 American La France fire engine front fenders. hood. fire wall. dashboard.
When it was made into a tour bus by the ranch the American La France parts were put on to a 1943 GMC truck chassis with dual rear wheels for reliability.
It originally had the American La France brass radiator that was damaged beyond repair after the ranch closed.
It is now replaced with a big antique Diamond T truck brass radiator that looks to be in good condition. it needs to be mounted to the frame and have the hoses hooked up by the new buyer.
It ran well when put away in 2006 & should only need some tinkering for it to run well again. The four passenger seats are done very nicely in diamond tuck. and had been reupholstered not too long before the ranch closed. Overall they look very. ery good.
The tires are good. Contact me or call to answer questions.
pacific standard time please.
I WILL NOT SELL INTERNATIONALLY. It already sold to a European buyer & he backed out many days later because he could not read English good and therefor couldn't understand my description clearly so it's up for sale again at a much LOWER PRICE than before so I can recoup my time and loss.
I do not know why ebay put G 80 on the listing as that is not the model and I cant take it off.
