Very rare original 1960s California hot rod.  1955 Chevy 265 V8 purchased in 1962.  I have the original bill of sale.  It was originally yellow but painted as a military tribute in the 1990s.  It has a WW2 Jeep frame and windshield.
  It has many rare and original parts!  1957 Thunderbird Holley carb completely rebuilt.  Custom roll bar and optional rear seat. Functional military seat belts!  This great Jeep has been inspected from bumper to bumper and has nice patinas but ALL parts are repaired or replaced!  It is ready to go!  New gas tank. windshield and interior rubbers and gaskets.
  It has the original transmission so top speed is about 60mph.  The engine was rebuilt several years ago and is in outstanding condition.  This is a rare 4k engine with solid lifters and a rare 1955 Corvette intake and valve covers!
It drips a bit of oil and transmission fluid but this is a 70+ Year old hot rod!  It drives wonderfully with very few rattles and has a functional 1940s siren.  This rare California car has only minor rust.  The original hat channels under the body are rusted out but this is extremely common due to the wood inserts and very easy to replace.  A real nice one!  Super rare and a TRUE 1960s hot rod.
I don't need help selling this vehicle and I am in NO hurry to sell.  Just don't have the time to cruise that this quality Jeep deserves.  Be ready to get saluted and have many Veterans stop you to talk.
