The International A-Series (or A-line) replaced the S-Series in April 1957. The name stood for "Anniversary. as 1957 marked the 50th (or Golden) Anniversary of International-Harvester truck production. It was largely a re-bodied version of the light and medium S-Series truck. incorporating a wider cab. wraparound windshield and more integrated fenders.
The new lower design necessitated a slight hump in the cabin floor. The stylish new front end. deleted running boards. and panoramic windshield brought the design more up to date for the later half of the fifties on this. the first all-new design to appear since Ted Ornas was put in charge of design in 1953. The hood was now hinged in the rear. rather than being a lift-off unit. The parking lights were mounted above the headlights. There were A-100 to A-180 series models available. with Gross Vehicle Weight ratings ranging from 4. 00 to 33. 00 pounds. A step-side bed remained standard. but a new flush-sided "Bonus Load" bed was an option for the first time.
Competitors to this Binder in 1957 included Chevrolet's 3100 Task Force pickups. GMC's Blue Chip pickups. Ford's F-Series and Dodge's C-Series.

MotoExotica. com is a licensed bonded dealer through the state of Missouri. We have been in business since 1988 selling high end. special interest. pre-owned and exotic vehicles.
With the advent of the Internet and EBay Motors. we have found an avenue that allows us to sell cars we normally purchased for ourselves. We have owned just about every exotic and luxury car known to man; such as ISO Grifo to Jaguar XKE. Lamborghini Countach and Rolls Royce.
In the past. these cars were sold primarily through Hemmings Motor News and through word of mouth. We would normally keep a car and enjoy it personally for 6 – 18 months. However. with listing cars on EBay Motors. our turnover has tremendously increased. Now. the average time we hold a car is 4 – 6 weeks!
With the increase in turnover has come the increased need of fine automobiles. We are constantly looking for exceptional cars and travel the country coast to coast in search of the rare and unusual. We find our cars through individuals like yourselves as well as classic car and dealers auctions. We do not purchase vehicles that we would not be proud to own ourselves.
For a quote on shipping anywhere in the world. please feel free to email us at sales@Motoexotica. com or call 636-600-4600. We will give you an estimated cost for open and enclosed transport or overseas. We are happy to accommodate our international buyers! Over the last several decades we have exported thousands of cars to Norway. Germany. Estonia. Puerto Rico. Hawaii. Alaska. Costa Rica. Brazil. British Columbia. Canada and many other locations around the world. Overseas shipments will be placed into a steel container for safe sea passage or optional roll-on/roll-off (RoRo). We take care of all the details and paperwork. All you have to do is collect the car at your nearest port and enjoy! Please note that we are not a transport company and only offer this service as a convenience to our customers. You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received.
