This is a great 1974 Super Beetle in daily driver running condition. Vehicle includes the Super Beetle tow bar package and towing lights. Tow bracket is installed. Hooking up the tow bar to the bracket takes less than a minute. This is the aftermarket tow bar designed for the Super Beetles. and is different than the standard Beetle tow bar. The lights are the standard magnetic with the 4 flat plug. If you've got a tow hitch. you are ready to go!

The Good;
It has had a LOT of recent work done to it such as the engine. transmission. clutch. and brakes have all been rebuilt with less than 1K miles on the rebuild. A portion of the front passenger floor panel was replaced during the rebuild. Basically. the usual problems areas on these vintage beetles are virtually brand new an this car. It starts easily every time. drives very well and handles great for a car this of this vintage. We get plenty of attention. thumbs up. smiles and constant comments on the condition. Lots of oohs and aahs on the super clean engine. If you like a stock vintage vehicle this would be a great choice for you. The 2 biggest things that are not stock. are the oil filter and the rims. We added the aftermarket oil filter attachment. It no longer has just the "oil strainer screen". That will reduce wear on the engine and increase the time between oil changes. The rims are the upgraded Volkswagen rims. They are stock wheel size. This was a West Coast vehicle and is very straight and nearly rust free.

The Bad;
Known issues include: The previous owner removed a push button start that had been installed in the dash. in an attempt to bring it back to original condition. However. he didn't bother to track down the issue and during our restoration. we started to have starting problems. I've half-installed a push button start while I am looking for the issue. It will come to you in this state unless I can find the issue by that time. If I can track it down. I will remove the push button start. I will make to guarantees to the completion. We have not taken the time to troubleshoot this yet. There are two small rust spots on the rear quarter panel above the wheel well and below the rear window on both sides. they are firm and not soft to the touch. nothing that cannot be fixed when you repaint the car. The headliner is in need of replacing. but is not in awful condition. Tires need replacing.

Overall this is an awesome classic car and a pleasure to drive. It's refurbishment is very near completion and needs just a bit more attention. The title is clean and clear.
