Here is one of my babies.   It will be sad to see it go but really I hardly drive it and it is a shame that it is sitting in the garage.   time to sell to pay for daughter's education.

This car is extremely nice.   It is not a show car but can still be regarded as a very nice car.   The interior is very new and looks amazing.   Red vinyl seat are excellent and carpets look great.   Wooden dashboard was an option and also looks great.    The exterior paint is nice and shiny but it does have a few blemishes here and there.    The engine runs strong in town and even in the highway.   I have taken this car to over 55 mph without problem.

For those of you who know. you will notice that this is a Mk1. flat roof. with external door hinge. and because it is an early 1963 it has the chrome window catches and 10 hole runners.   Or course. sliding windows and moustache front grill.   Oh yes.   It's a beauty.

It is such a fun car to drive.   It feels surprisingly spacious inside and will seat 4 adults without a problem.   I had a kid seat on it for years and my daughter loved riding in this car.    The back seat folds in to leave a very large area in the back if you need to haul stull (see ppicture of my daughter laying in the back with the seat folding in)

As you know. this is the countryman model.   Identical in many ways to the Morris Traveller.    Its a long whell base model and has barn doors in the back.   The wood pieces are in good condition.   The glass are good.   Most chrome are excellent.   I do have a bunch of extra parts I will give with the purchase.   I believe I have a new set of sliding glass for the doors and new chrome sliding paltes as well.   I also have the original shop manual. instructions etc.

The car leaks a little oil.   That's pretty standard.   The front brakes were upgraded to dual leading show instead of the weak single leading show.   Otherwise it is quite original.   The roof liner is good and the car looks and runs very well.    I have a video of the car running here   http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=Kh0o4UjBIks   Please note that the thump sound you hear is me letting go of the pedal a little harshly and not a mechanical problem.

This car is a true collector's item but one that can be driven every day wihtou worries.
