1977 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40

Up for sale is a February/1977 Toyota Land cruiser that has gone through a frame off refurb.

Exterior: This 40 has new CCOT rear quarter panels. fenders. rear sill. rockers. and running boards. The fenders were professionally installed. primed. sealed. and painted using single stage Nason 2K Urethane freeborn red (Paint code T309). The entire frame has been wire wheeled and covered in POR-15.   Each Toyota emblem has been replaced with OEM. This 40 is equipped with later model FJ60 15X8 rims and 5 brand new 31X10. 50 BF Goodrich KM2 Mud Terrains with less than 200 miles on them. Other exterior upgrades include a CCOT HFS bumper. HFS 1. 5” shackles. new WARN hubs. new stainless steel latches. mirrors. SOR bimini cover. CCOT tailgate. Toyota FJ40 OEM doors that have been modified into half doors & reupholstered. I am sure I am missing items. but there is too much to list.

The hard top is included as well. but has NOT been restored. Unrestored parts include: Driver & passenger doors. rear ambulance doors. fiberglass top. etc. I have all of the glass carefully wrapped. Brand new headliner is installed.

Interior: The interior has been reupholstered using marine grade black vinyl on all four seats. the original Toyota floormats is still installed. and in really good shape. The original Toyota seatbelts are also included. The dash is in perfect shape. Upgrades include Tuffy console. powder coated gauge cluster cover. ashtray. glove box. pioneer cd player. new OEM shifter knobs. pedal pads. & shifter boots. Again. too much to list. .

Engine: This FJ40 is equipped with a 6 cyl 2F engine that has been completely refurbished. This engine has 123K original miles. New Toyota OEM parts include: OEM oil pan gasket. OEM  side cover gasket. water pump gasket. exhaust manifold gasket. thermostat. plugs/wires. belt.  alternator. air filter. mechanical fuel pump. Aisin oil pump. fuel filter. rebuilt Aisin carberator. hoses. recently flushed radiator. All turn signals. brake lights. headlights. marker lights. hazards. Wipers. & heater work as they should.

Engine upgrades: Nipodenso electronic ignition.  Flame Thrower coil. rebuilt OEM manual steering box by West Texas Offroad. SOR manifold heat riser shield. desmogged (still have all smog equipment excluding pump).

Transmission: The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly. and has recently had her fluids changed including the transfer case and differentials.

Suspension: Toyota springs with 1. 5" HFS shackles/procomp shocks.
