Ferrari 308 Replica - Rare Auto Milan kit. Please see www. automilan. info for further details. Requires the finishing touches with all the hard and expensive work carried out.  Has a V5 that is registered as an Escort RS Turbo - 1988.   Mid engined. Unusually for a kit/replica this actually looks correct unlike the many F355s you see.
Has its own chassis but using the reliable and powerful Ford Escort 1. 6 cvh RS turbo running gear. The rossi corsa red paintwork is bright and shiny with only the engine cover requiring a repair.  Engine is on the button but does require service as sat for a few years. 5 speed Manual. Unmarked splitrim alloys from the US. Handmade ally bonnet.  Kit cost £3950 for the body package. chassis package inc pedal box £1495 in 1988. Add the donor car (88 rs turbo) min £1000. £1200 of paint. wheels imported from america £??? Basically had a good few spent to get this far. All mechanical components are cheap and readily available on ebay. What it needs:Mechanically a service and clutch slave cylinder - i'd advise a cambelt as well. Interior. theres a door card missing but easily made up. n/s door latch (could copy o/s). there is no targa roof - quite simple to make. the lost original just unclipped and tucked behind the seats. soundproof and carpet. not sure if the lights have motors yet? Front seats require securing. Badging for the rear. does have the original correct rear lights! 2 wipers - motor there. Tracking. The usual tidying inside and whatever else i havent mentioned.
Best advice would be to view it. It is a kit car. its a very accurate replica and certainly turns heads. If you like the Magnum esq and dont want to go the pontiac fiero route then this is ideal. As i said. viewing welcomed and advised. May be able to assist with transport at cost. Any questions please ask. It does have front light motors and lenses. no window mechanisms. Will require also latches for boot and bonnet as not affixed. Please note it looks better in the pics as just washed. Still very nice all the same. Also. a kind  gentleman has emailed to say he has a friend whom has the moulds and jigs for this very vehicle. although not too sure if he'd be happy to make up panels for anybody? At least its known there are still moulds out there.
