for sale is a 1991 BMW 325 i X -- the car is perfect for a small project. or with a few little tweaks drive as is. the interior is in near perfect condition. unbelievable how clean and tear-free the upholstery is. dash only shows a small crack inside the passenger stuff holder above the glove box.
Engine + Transmission:the engine is strong with only 100 K miles on it. fresh oil change. fires on all cylinders. freshly cleaned fuel injectors. new air intake filter. new fuel filter. transmission is great. pulls in all gears. and all wheel drive is tested (jack test) and works 100%. the starter is loud and sounds as if it is going out. but does work every time.
Suspension and Drivetrain:the suspension is a little bit soft. usually is on the i X models. the only issue this car currently has is that there is a wobble at 60 mph +/- that feels as if it is a bad front right bushing. I have done my best to chase this down to be exact. i have ruled out driveline. so that leaves suspension components which is a relatively easy fix.
Exterior:the exterior of the car is not in the best condition. paint appears that with a good buff it could shine bright again. however the rear drivers door has many dents (not sure how) and the passenger front door has a surface rust spot on it. i was planing on repainting the vehicle so this was not a big concern to me. additionally the front lower lip is missing.
overall this car is really clean and runs well. everyone that has seen it loves it and expresses how well built these cars were. keep in mind this is a project and everything wrong my not be listed here. i am happy to send videos or get any additional photos on request.
