1948 Buick Super convertible

Vintage Autohaus & Imports is proud to present this 1948 Buick Convertible. This classy restored Buick is very nice in every way. The solid body was stripped and professionally painted in a deep black gloss. We have done a magnet test and have found no bondo or patches in the all steel body. The fender skirts are solid and fit as should. All of the chrome and stainless has been redone and is very straight. The bumpers and grille are in great condition with no dents. The Custom Classic wide whites are in great condition with a smooth ride. The trunk is in good detail with the spare tire. jack. and tools.

The interior is excellent! All seats and panels have been restored from the metal out for a very comfortable drive. The dash is in high detail with all the trim and knobs in great condition. All of the handles. cranks. and ashtrays are in place and show very well with light patina. All of the gauges are in working order. The clock and radio do work with the adjustable windshield mount antenna. The front door power hydraulic windows are in working condition with a power convertible top. The Hartz cloth top is in new condition. The undercarriage is very solid with original floors and frame. The underside was cleaned and blasted to show the originality.

The Fireball straight 8 engine is all tuned up and in great running condition with good compression. The 3 speed column shift transmission runs through all of the gears. We have installed a new clutch. This is a beauty! What a great car for a Sunday family drive.
