The 1982 Jeep Scrambler. also known as the CJ-8 as part of Jeep's CJ line. is a four-wheel drive vehicle available in soft top and hard top variations that was manufactured with the capability of crossing rugged terrain. Now considered a classic and highly sought after on the secondhand market. there were only 27. 92 Scramblers produced between 1981 and 1986. It was produced with a standard engine. with the opportunity to upgrade to a more powerful engine for those who wanted more horsepower.
