This 1968 GMC Handi -Van Long Wheel Base. This Van is very low mileage bought new by Milton-Washington Indiana Fire Department and has never been repainted when I bought it in 2010 it still had all the portable pumps hoses and fire gear in it at that time it had 33. 64 miles on it. I removed the fire gear tinted the windows installed the very old school torq-thrust style wheels with new tires. light and siren still work. All lettering and emblems are just as they were in the days it was in service. This is a 6 cylinder 3 speed on the column. It gets a lot of attention every time I drive it. It's been also on the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2011. The tour started in Florida going to Detroit. This Rare Van also comes with a Chevy parts Van. The Parts Van was V-8 but no motor in it now but has the automatic trans power glide which is unique to this style of van. Also along with many good spare parts it also has a 4:11 Posi Rear End under it. The parts van goes with the Fire Van don't miss a one chance to own a real Peace of History.
