Hi for sale is my beloved mini that i have had for the last 10 years but it is now time to sell it as i just dont have the time to use it any more and would like it to go to a new home. This mini cost me in the region of £20. 00 to build and i have a lot of history and original receipts of all that i have done.
It has been off the road since 2008. It had its last an mot a couple of months ago and passed after fitting a new cv boot. That was all it needed!!I have fitted a new battery and clutch cylinder as well since.
Listed below is some of the things i had done in 2003:-

Exterior It was rebuilt using all genuine rover panels. Painted in a flip paint that changes from purple. to blue. to gold depending on the angle and light. Genuine sportpack arches. 7 x 13 polished minilites. Heated front windscreen. New rear genuine screen.
Interior Full genuine late mini cooper leather seats. (Mainly black with beige pipping with mini cooper emblem on the two front seats) Walnut dash. centre console. arm rest and door furniture. Magnolia Dials. Gages (Vaults. oil pressure. water temp etc)New carpet. D oor cards made.

6 x 9 speakers fitted insert to the rear self.

Cd player.

The engine 1430 cc performance engine built by mini sport.

The spec for the engine is as below:-

Metro turbo block which has been bored out to 1430.

11 stud stage 3 port and polished head. Powermax pistons. Cooper S Rods. Lightened and balanced crank. Lightened and balanced flywheel. Alden 45 D performance yellow distributor with vaccum. Electronic ignition. 1. 5 roller tip rockers. Kent 286 cam. Non verto clutch with ap racing clutch. New gear box with trans x diff with a 3. 1:1 final drive. Electric fuel pump mounted in boot. All braided fuel lines (all Changed this year)Samco water hoses. 4 core radiator. Twin HS 4 1. 5 su carbs with K&N filters. Large LCB manifold. 2"mini play stainless exhaust Fuel regulator. Braided oil cooler pipes. 13 row oil cooler. Magnacor 8. 5 ignition leads.
Other bits 1. 5 negative camber lower arms.

Adjustable tie rods. Poly bushed throughout. Braided brake line and all new copper lines.

The not so good bits Its a 26 year old car. it does have its

problems

and it has been over 10 years since it was restored fully. but the overall condition is very good for its age and free from rust. (in my opinion) The paint is bubbling under the headlights as do all mini's. I was going to get it shot blasted and get the front painted again to look like new but have been unable to. The paint has pealed around the base of the arial on the roof but is only a small area. Has not been driven any long distances since 2008 but drove ok to mot centre and back again. (on friends trade plates)I have started to polish it back up and it does come up really nice. The wheels could do with a good bit of polishing as they have minor corrosion but they come up nice too with some elbow grease. Minor paint imperfections from stone chips. Front bumper the chrome has pitted and may need replacing.

All this mini needs is a bit of tlc and time and you will have one fast. really good looking. unique mini again.

It has no road tax (sorn) or insurance so it would have to be trailerd or you will need to sort out insurance to drive it away.
