1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Up for sale is this 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. No expense spared on build. One of the most collectible Beetles available with many 1 year parts. This beetle is done right. many cool modern upgrades while maintaining the 67 VW heritage. Complete top to bottom restoration 5 years ago and babied by the owner builder since completion. Needs nothing.

                                           Body and Paint

Sold originally in New Mexico and moved to Denver 20 plus years ago. Always maintained and no rust ever. 1 year only deck lid. door handles.

Show quality paint in its original blue. Euro bumpers added. Dynomat throughout.   Real popout rear windows. Straight and clean. No scratches. dents or dings.

                               Chassis. Suspension and Brakes

Original rust free pans with all new suspension. every piece. Fully adjustable 3 inch narrowed beam with drop spindles. All new brakes. After market Fuch wheels and new tires. 165/60/15 F. 205/65/15 R. Handles amazing and quiet. Brakes stop perfect.  

                                              Powertrain

Engine completely rebuilt along with trans just over 2k miles ago. Original case to car used. Juiced a little but not a hot rod. Runs smooth as silk and does not heat. Car has been in a couple summer parades and has no issue doing it. Nice quick take off and has the Empi performance shifter. Shifts perfect. No leaks.

                                            Interior and Misc

 Perfect black interior all new at time of restoration including headliner.  TMI material. sound deadener throughout. Everything works. All glass on car is original except windshield. All new seals and rubbers throughout.

In full disclosure. one tiny chip in steering wheel. Trans was rebult local by a well known VW guy. he uses oversized bearings and you get a slight rolling noise on deceleration in 1st gear. Been checked. no issue.
