1972 Volkswagen Type 2 Deluxe weekender camper

For sale is this Texas import 1972 VW deluxe baywindow.

This Volkswagen has been imported from the extremely dry state of Texas. this means it has had only two small patches of welding in its 41 years of life. all the panels are original and super straight-all of the original factory spotwelds and panel lines/gaps are %100 how they left the factory.

 If you are familiar with Volkswagens from Europe or England you will know they are mostly made of repair panels and filler-you will forever be chasing the rust and paint repairs. with a quality import like this you will have very little to worry about keeping it in this condition

This baywindow is what is known in the scene as a 'deluxe'. It has the polished trim around the the waistline and benefits from 5 pop out quarter lights for the hot summer days!

This vehicle has been subject to a complete mechanical and re. -finish overhaul. The paint work is exceptional. the interior trim has been very nicely replaced with new. It has had a full new headlining fitted and new window and door rubbers. It comes with the new 3bow chrome roof rack which suits the bus well.

The engine is a newly rebuilt 1641cc which has all new components and ignition system. with a new clutch. It makes this  an absolute pleasure to drive. The brakes. brake pipes and all brake system parts are %100 new german components.

In the back it has a new rock and roll bed and cooker and sink unit with storage. The floor in the back is a white wood effect flooring and in the front its trimed with a black carpet. Its had a new stereo and 6x9 speakers fitted. I have left the orginal stereo in the dash and the new stereo is under the dash.  Its ready to use and has that new car smell from all the fresh trimming carried out-it has not been smoked. drank or camped in yet!

It has one years mot and tax and is uk registered. so you can drive away on your adventure. it still has usa plates waiting for reg to come through from dvla
