Motodrome are pleased to offer a fine example of one of our favourite 1980's luxury cars – a Jaguar Sovereign V 12 Series 3

Fitted with the usual high specification including cruise control (still working!) electric sunroof/windows/mirrors. central locking. trip computer. HLWW. alloys. rear headrests. & superb stereo with electric aerial.

Also fitted with a set of Kent alloys. although we have the original pepperpots if you want them.

This one has a superb history.

Supplied new by Appleyard of Bradford. it's only had 2 previous owners from new. including one private owner from 1991 to 2012. In 2009/10 it underwent major structural and mechanical work by Naylor Brothers of Shiply following time in storage. and it's low warranted mileage is backed up by 15 stamps in the original service book (all bar the last are Jaguar main dealer stamps). Last serviced at 47 K in January 2013.

It will be supplied with a full 12 months MOT on sale. and 6 months warranty

Bodywork and interior wise it looks really superb. and it drives beautifully too. .

Further detail:

The body and paintwork on this one look exceptionally smart overall. with nice deep paint. and it's totally straight down the sides.

Obviously expect stonechips. minor dinks and scratches etc commensurate with it's age and mileage but overall it's really very good indeed All I can really criticise is: a deep and 2 in long scratch on the bonnet just behind the grille. a very small touched-in area to the offside edge of the bonnet. and a small nick to the NSR door. The rear bumper chrome is a tad pitted but isn't lifting.

Interior – all as it should be. and in great shape with no real wear to the drivers seat etc commensurate with the mileage. nice wood. carpets etc. A really nice place to be. . All I can criticise is a very slight sag to the rear headlining (mainly on the nearside rear but we've tried to highlight it in the video)

Starts on the button and it performs without apparent fault - I'm currently using it daily - didn't display any signs of misfiring.

hesitancy. overheating etc. with no untoward noises or dramas. just turbine-like power delivery and a sublime driving experience.

Nothing to criticise at all really. except the aircon doesn't blow cold. and the trip computer seems only to display elapsed time. .
