1966 F 100 2 WD Short Bed
This is a project truck with no engine or trans. Previous owner installed a crown vic front end so you already have independent front suspension. disc brakes. and rack and pinion steering. Install needs to be finished. Truck still retains its original 9" in the rear. I have an engine cross member to install a 351 as that is what the previous owner was intending to do. I have an automatic keyless steering column from a 60's ford car to go with it. I have all of the original interior parts and the body is bolted together on the frame. The body of the truck is very nice. Only rot I have found is in the bed up by the cab and its minimal. Previous owner smoothed the floors because he said he was going to paint them and not run a rug. They look good from underneath. The whole cab is in excellent condition. When I picked up the truck the doors were gone so I had to pick up another pair to hang on the cab. there is some minimal rust in the lower corners of the doors. Fenders and hood are rust free. I have a door vin tag that matches the frame and title and new rivets to install it on these doors or another pair after paint and body. This is an excellent start to a nice hot rod project and you get to make all the color choices and drive train choices. Keep is as close to stock as you want or go hot rod crazy with it.
