1985 Jeep CJ - Amazing Condition

The CJ7 is the quintessential Jeep. combining the classic upright grille. topless fun. and a rugged but friendly demeanor.  The Jeep CJ is a proven platform and ideal for any environment. from driving on streets to climbing boulders and plowing through mud.   This rig can do it all.   This is a true piece of American history and can go and do everything it was built for.

As you can see in the photos this jeep has been well cared for. nbsp; this was owned by a family friend who is forced to sell.   This has been adult driven by a non-smoker and very very rarely taken off road.   Same owner for the last ten years. nbsp; less than five thousand miles put on it in that time.

The grey bikini top and matching half doors are like new and look great.   Also has a matching color full soft top with full soft doors.   In addition to this it also has an additional bikini top with a soft “ Wind Jammer ” cab turning it into a single cab.   All these components are made by “ Best Top ” and are very solid.   This is usually ran with just a bikini top.  we all really enjoy it when these Jeeps are open to the world. That's why we love the level of restoration inside. The custom front buckets and matching rear seat are comfortable on the trail. and when it's time to go out on the town. they combine with newer material for a very custom look. This one has all the right features you could want. including an AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers both in the dash. in the rear “ Polk Audio ” and an enclosed subwoofer inside the center console. sounds amazing.   The dash is stock but a tach was added and looks great. nbsp; everything works including the stock Jeep Clock!  As you can see in the photos everything is clean and perfect. little things like billet knobs on the dash show the level of restoration that was done.

The body is as beautiful as the interior. nbsp; amazing paint with custom rock sliders and matching rear swing away tire mount.   The sliders. tire mount and even the hardware for the soft top are all professionally painted with the matching silver / grey textured paint.   Inside is a custom roll cage that again has been painted body color and looks fantastic.    Chrome accents all around like mirrors. latches etc.  Even has a matching billet gas cap!

Brand new tires get this rig around. nbsp; BFG All terrains 33x50R15's with less than 200 miles on them with a matching full size spare.   These tires are like new and were over a thousand dollars on their own.   This is an Arizona Jeep. no rust no cracked frames. no hidden surprises.

Under the hood is a 300hp Chevy 350 crate motor; the original owner who completely restored this jeep did an amazing job with the motor / trans combo.   This is a very very healthy motor and the transmission shifts great with a shift kit.   This trans was also professionally rebuilt about 500 miles ago and shifts perfectly.   Stopping the rig is a set of disc breaks with a power booster. stops great.

This Chevy 350 is a long established power plant for Jeep and has proven its reliability and continues to have easy parts availability. Torquey and robust. this is the engine you want pulling through daily traffic. or the worst slop Mother Nature can throw at you.

The automatic transmission is great for everyday driving. and when the pavement ends. the Dana 300 transfer case and seriously beefy axles at both ends keep you moving with ease. Low range gives it rock-crawling stability. but thanks to the modern all-terrain BFG tires. it can cruise easily at highway speeds. too. In fact. with its power steering. this CJ7 is just as comfortable being a city slicker on the weekdays. as it is a country climber on the weekends.   Not only easy to drive but easy to steer. can be done with a single finger.    Just over 122. 00 original miles as shown on the title.

You're looking at an icon that has been painstakingly maintained and restored and was given just the right upgrades to keep it a useful classic in the modern world.  It's a total package Jeep. nbsp; we hate to get rid of this classic but the time has come.   Pictures DO NOT do this rig justice.   It's an amazing machine and will make any owner very happy.
