Hello.
NO RESERVE!!!! If you have been looking for an original Scout to restore. this is it!
For a video of the Scout.
For more pictures on Flickr.
Up for your consideration today is my 1979 International Scout II.
I purchased this from a gentleman here in Washington state.
He owned it since 1994.
He purchased it from the original owner who also worked for the International dealership in Spokane WA.
He ordered it with all the bells and whistles at the time.
It has the deluxe interior. folding rear seat. tilt. A/C. cruise. rare chrome Rallye rims. roof rack. funky fake wood graphics.
The scout has the 304 V 8 with the automatic transmission which is the bulletproof 727.
Dual exhaust.
4 wheel drive which works very well.
I have a folder of all kinds of receipts and owners manual and stuff from when it was new.
I have a copy of the line ticket also.
This Scout runs very nice.
It sounds beautiful and is a pleasure to drive.
I would feel comfortable driving this across the country.
The only things I know that do not work are the horn and the A/C.
I haven't looked into why the horn doesn't work.
The A/C does not have a belt. and I'm sure it would need charged.
All of the lights work. heater. windshield wipers and washer. radio works. old vintage CB radio works too.
Brakes work great too. rotors could probably use a turning as there seems to be a slight vibration when braking.
The body obviously needs attention.
The heaviest rust being on the drivers side quarter.
Floors seem to be very solid.
The frame is solid with no rust.
All of the glass is great.
Windows all roll down as they should.
Top has never been off of the vehicle.
I started polishing the original rallye rims. they still need some attention.
The spare tire and rim are in beautiful condition.
Everything on this Scout is original. it has never been molested.
I added a set of floor mats that I put over the original carpet to protect it.
Original 156. 00 miles.
I have some extras that come with it. including a two volume shop manual set. bushing kits. and various other items.
Please ask any and all questions you have before you bid. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY. BIG WASTE OF TIME!!! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. OR FLY IN AND DRIVE HOME.
