This rare and beautiful 1981 Fiat Spider TURBO Convertible is one of only 400 Turbo Spiders ever produced in the world.
It is in a beautiful metallic bronze. with tan leather interior. tan rag-top. and top cover. This classic color combination is featured in the 1981 advertising for Fiat which image you can find in the car's photo gallery.
This car has been primarily used for fashion photography shoots. as it is in such pristine condition.
It is in perfect working-order with a completely rebuilt turbo and engine. It was recently restored to almost-original condition. having the following services.
Including:
- A complete engine rebuild by a NY Fiat specialist.
(including a rebuilt cylinder head. and replacement of: head gasket. intake manifold gasket. exhaust gasket. plenum gasket. camshaft housing gaskets. valve cover gaskets. exhaust valve. and all valve seals).
- A completely rebuilt and renovated TURBO. by NY turbo specialist.
- A complete interior restoration was given to the car by a top NYC custom-car design studio. Included in this was hand-fitted Italian all-wool carpets. Italian leather seating. center-console recovered (to match). restored door-side panels. and an Alpine stereo system installed with i Pod/i Pad connectivity and bluetooth. The trunk was relined in the original fabric and houses a brand new spare tire and rim. and original tool kit for tire change.
