THE ENGINE WAS TOTALLY REBUILT IN 1987 BY WESTLAKE PERFORMANCE CAR SERVICE OF HIGH WYCOME. BUCKS.   MOST PARTS WERE REPLACED WITH UPRATED COMPONENTS INCLUDING - HIGH LIFT CAMSHAFT / HIGH COMPRESSION PISTONS / HIGH PERFORMANCE OIL PUMP / THE CRANKSHAFT WAS REGROUND / THE ORIGINAL ENGINE WAS BORED OUT TO 5 LITRE (302 CUBIC INCHES) - HAS A COMPRESSION OF 9. 5 TO 1.   IT WAS CLAIMED BY WESTLAKE TO BE PUTTING OUT AROUND 300BHP
