With that. you'll note that many items on this vehicle are still original and in our typical fashion. it has been gone through meticulously. This car is in EXCEPTIONAL condition and drives INCREDIBLY SMOOTH. QUIET AND STILL TURNS USING JUST ONE FINGER!!!  Following are all the details:

Body:  

Bodywork and paint was just professionally completed by Sonoran Classic Restorations (seasoned Professional Auto Body Painter with 27 years in the business). Car was originally burgundy and painted the much more desired 1974 Lincoln White (9D) with 3 coats of clear. colored sanded and buffed. All black trim was cleaned and repainted. The bodywork is arrow straight. paint is glossy and smooth. and this Lincoln looks great!

  100% dry and rust free body

·         Glass in overall good condition

Wheels and Tires:

·         Brand new Coker whitewall tires 225/75/15 - $1. 00

·         Nice clean. aftermarket wheels. though original hubcaps are on hand and can be delivered if desired

Engine:

·         460 4 Barrel

      Original numbers matching motor

      New Edelbrock Carburetor 1406

·         3 speed c6 transmission

·         Dual exhausts

·         All fluids and oils are fresh

·         New thermostat

·         New fuel filter

·         New plugs

·         New battery

·         New belts and hoses

·         No leaks

Brake System:

·         New pads

·         Rear shoes are in great shape

Disclosures:

Now as beautiful as this Mark IV has turned out. it is still a 1974 and obviously not everything is “perfect”. nor will it be in a car of this age (unless you purchase one that has had a meticulous frame off. nut and bolt restoration and you can expect to pay substantially more). With that. and as noted below. we still want to be up front in our disclosures. Also please note that when you purchase one of these beauties you can expect some occasional tinkering and maintenance. and please realize it is a carbureted motor and you will need to pump the gas pedal prior to starting. That said. these are still incredible vehicles and well worth the extra care that is required.

·         Chrome and brightwork have slight dings on a couple of pieces and show some age. but looks good overall

·         Bumpers – Front is nice. back has some surface issues

·         Weather-stripping is original and shows some cracking and deterioration - can cause minimal water drips and air leaks

      Dash had cracks. but new replacement cap covers all condition issues

·         Rear driver side dome light does not work

  Driver's side vent window filler piece is missing (see photo 24)

       Rear upper trim pieces were warped (see photo 24)

       Vinyl top has slight puckering at top rear edges (see photo 24)

·         Trim around underside of Sunroof has a couple of cracks due to age

       A/C works and blows cool. but not ice cold.   Heat works fine.
