This stunning XJ 12 was supplied to its first owner on November 1 st 1988 by Mann Egerton in Norwich. We have the original invoice showing that the gentleman ordered it in Bordeaux red Metallic with Magnolia Leather with red piping. He paid £561 extra to have an electric tilt slide sunroof and £65 for fitted mats. Total invoice price was £32. 19. 25 less £10. 19. 25 for his 1985 XJ 6 in part exchange. He kept ownership of the car until 2005 when the second owner took over and undertook some restoration work to the body. In 2006 the car had 2 new front wings and 2 outer sills. we have photographic evidence of all this work. The interior trim is all original and beautifully kept including the wood. All exterior chrome is perfect and all electrical items work. The car runs and drives beautifully. the gearbox shifts smoothly and there is plenty of power from the legendary V 12 engine.
We have all records for the car from day one. it has been serviced at the following intervals 1 k. 4 k. 7 k. 11 k. 14 k. 17 k. 19 k. 21 k. 22 k. 23 k. 26 k. 31 k. 35 k. 39 k. 41 k. 42 k. 43 k. 45 k and 46 k.
