Submitted for your approval. my 1962 Studebaker Lark Convt. Black with red/white interior. white convt top and red boot. Six cylinder. automatic. ower top. radio(modified. ee pics) heater/ def. manual windshield washer. No p/s or p/b. I have owned this car for about seven years. and many good times with it. but its time to thin the herd. Movie/tv credits include American Gangster(2009). en in Black 3. 2011) Cinema Verti(HBO mini series) Pan Am show on ABC (2011-2012). where it was used as a hero car. being the vehicle of one of the main characters. so it can be seen in several episodes. and even in the opening  credits. Norah Jones music video "Happy Pills" (2011). where she kills her boyfriend and pushes him and the car into a lake(special effects. thank you). and most recently in the yet to be released "We'll never Have Paris" with Zack Quinto(star Trek). and Simon Helberg(Big Bang Theory). The filming was done in July 2013 . or a few days during the hottest heat wave ever recorded in NYC history. and the car did not overheat/vaporlock. stall even in NYC bumper to bumper traffic with a camera mounted to the hood! Although its been shown a lot. it is not a show car. but a fun. reliable driver that looks good and turns heads. Whats good: Paint has a decent shine. with some small chips/imperfections. There is some bubbling(very slight) at the rear of the front fenders. Floors are solid(see pics). rockers are solid . trunk is also excellent. All windows roll up and down nicely. Power top works great. and back window is nice and clear. Car runs. shifts. steers and stops well. and has proven to be a reliable. un and economical driver. Work done in the last 6 months/300 miles includes: major tune up(including wires). il/filter/lube. new wheel cylinders front and rear. new brake linings on front(see pics) rears were fine. Also done; changed rear axle fluid. new front inner and outer wheel bearings. rebuilt starter. carburetor professionally rebuilt by Larry Isgro of Wantagh NY. tc. Interior has seat covers by PO. door panels by me. Hidden radio in dash looks original. flips down to reveal modern unit with four speakers. Looks old. sounds new. one thing that drives me nuts is a 2013 radio in a 1962 dashboard. Dashboard and steering wheel painted by ABC tv prop guys. decent job. Bumpers are nice driver quality. front grill and surround are super nice NOS. Wipers work. orn works. ights work. radio works. eater and fan work. Super rare clock works(Took me 3 years to find one!) idiot lights and gauges work. although temp gauge reads higher than actual. Whats not so good: chrome trim around top of doors is pitted. front end has some play in it. bushings are original and should be replaced. a new set of lower control arm bushings is included in the sale. Top works great. but needs new pads installed. the new pads are included in the sale of the car. Some of the weatherstripping could be replaced. arpet is dirty on drivers side. This is an opportunity to get a decent fun driver with a nice work history. for not big money. If you want a show car this is NOT it. and I an not asking show car money for it. I have about $8500 (and a lot of time!) invested in this car. and my reserve is less than that . Of course being 51 years old. there is no warranty implied or otherwise.

Hi, lived in Vancouver BC and owned this exact car for 9 years 1980-89. Restored it, took it to Studebaker shows as far as California, broke down everywhere...all those predicaments…finding parts, good memories. I was in my 20’s and was so much fun. Do you know if this car is from BC by chance? Mine had 2 gas peddles as original owner had a war injury and needed one in a different position. i saw the car in Pan Am. Brenda www.brendabachmann.com
