Austin mini 25 Turbo (120bhp 128lbs/ft)

Hiya. here for sale is my much loved 1984 Austin mini 25 Turbo
I bought this mini as scrap and completely rebuilt her to what she is now.

Only selling due to I need a van for my bike hobbies.

51220 miles in total but the speedo reads 2983 which is the mileage done since the major build.

She is powered by a 1293 cc T 2 12. 5 psi turbocharged metro turbo engine which has also been completely rebuilt and put out 120 bhp with 128 lbs/ft on thr dyno but she has been modded significantly since! I would guess around 125 bhp and just as good if not more torque.

No advisories on mot last year.

MOT due in November (I will re mot soon so will be sold with 12 months)
Tax till end of October.

Lots of tread left on tyres.

She has plenty of poke. drives very well. sound body.

I am going to list the bits done in bullet points as there is a lot!!

Always run on Millers ctv oil changed at 1500 mile intervals.

You will be able to see in the pics that there is a slight crack in the paint on the n/s/r body panel
Also the side and rear panels have a cheaper paint job than the roof. doors and front end due do welding repairs carried out.

The starter motor is sticking sometimes. it is a remanufactured one I bought around a year ago but always kicks in.

Engine:

- 1293 cc
- fresh reconditioned T 2 turbo from CRTurbos 12. 5 psi boost
- Wideband fuel/air gauge fitted
- Megajolt fully mapable ignition fitted and set up on dyno
- 10 cc dished cast Omega pistons
- Undercrown cooling jets added
- new main. big end. cam and thrust bearings
- Avonbar phase 2 camshaft
- Duplex adjustable timing gears (cam timed in to 107 degrees btdc)
- Fully ported head with 23 cc chambers. bronze bullet shaped valve guides. 36 mm inlet vlaves 29 mm exhaust
- dry decked head and block
- 1. 3 roller rockers from MED

- Straight cut close ratio gearbox with x pin diff. 2. 9 final drive

- Gearbox bearings replaced
- New primary gear
- 190 mm rally clutch plate
- intercooler
- carb rebuilt and needle adjusted for correct fueling
- 4 core radiator
- 2 inch exhaust from downpipe to tail pipe

Body:

- n/s/r and o/s/r lower panels (underneath rear side windows)
- New floor
- New rear boot floor
- New o/s and n/s sections of boot floor
- de-seamed rear valance
- new o/s/r wheel arch
- New a panels
- new n/s/f and o/s/f fitch panels
- New outer sills
- fibreglass flip front
- New rear subframe
- Lightened front subframe
- Miglia wheel arches

Suspension:

- Minitastic coil springs all round
- Gaz 32 point adjustable shocks all round
- rebuilt radius arms
- rebuilt top arms
- poly bushes allround
- ride height adjusters all round
- rear camber/toe adjusters
- negative front lower arms fitted

Brakes:

- New rear brake cylinders
- Brake pipes/hoses replaced

Other:

- Sigma alarm immobiliser

(Alarm doesn't sound)
