1926 Buick. Master Series
Country Club Roadster

This vehicle has had a full. frame up. restoration. The drive line is completely rebuilt and the car is tour proven having been driven over 210 miles on  a "Horseless Tour" last year. There were two distinct models in 1926;  the Standard series with the 207 cubic inch. 60 horsepower engine and the Master series with the 274. 2 cubic inch. 75 horsepower engine and the longer wheelbase. This  Master  model '54' was advertised. by the factory. as a three passenger vehicle; two in the front and one in the rumble seat. and labeled as a Country Club Roadster. The only blemish on the paintwork is a chip on the hood hinge. and the vehicle shows excellently. The interior is done in tan vinyl and the black canvas top is fresh and new. The vacuum fuel system provides fuel to the engine without any problems and there is not an extra electric pump needed. This fact reveals the quality of the restorer. All Buick's used the 'reverse' shift pattern where the first gear is away from you and back. while third gear is next to your leg and back. a unique factory correct shifting pattern. The wood spoke wheels are in very good condition and run 'true' at all speeds. without any pounding or vibration. There is more than sufficient low end torque for the car to pull very steep hills without effort. The wind wings are correct glass. not plexiglass and the running board rubber covers are correct and appear not to have ever been stepped on. Lack of storage space predicates the sale of my car. Restored in Ohio and successfully tour driven. this Buick is a car one would be proud to own. (Vehicles with large six cylinder engines are excellent for touring as they do not strain like the Model A's and have sufficient power to keep a respectable pace all day long. ) I have a clear Florida title. in my name which will be released when confirmed payment is made. Contact me with specific questions; thank you. Wellington Morton. (904) 230-4448.       PS: Verifiable checks or cash is the only from of payment as I do not accept PayPal.
