CONDITION: Restored in 2008. with 5100 miles since restoration. restoration included:
MECHANICAL: Rebuilt top half of engine. Head resurfaced. new valves. oil seals. gaskets. timing chain. Replaced/new: points. spark plugs. spark plug wires. fuel filter. ignition coil. Tachometer cable. both front tie rod assemblies. steering shock and drag link. alignment. rear transmission mount. transmission linkage. shifter bushings.
Flushed/refilled: Transmission. rear end. radiator
EXTERIOR: High-end professional paint job. all chrome and bright works removed. with multiple coats of primer with sanding between each coat to remove all nicks/scratches. painted with guards red and artic white and clear coated for a beautiful finish. New tinted windshield. Re-chromed several pieces of trim. new rear chrome bumpers. New tan convertible top. New rubber seals on top. doors. trunk and windows.
INTERIOR: New leather seats. new carpet. new M. B. logo mats. new head liner. Rebuilt clock with new Quartz movement. Refinished interior wood trim with marine grade Polyurethane. Refinished interior of trunk and added new carpet
REVIEW: This is a rare and beautiful car. The restoration is 5 years old. but the car is still in excellent condition. and is a head turner whenever it is driven.
