Circa 1942 Chev Lend Lease Tow Truck
Very reluctant sale. This was restored by my father. who built and operated Tow Trucks in Victoria for over 50 years. It is 100% period correct and I doubt you will find another one like it. Good strong Blue Flame motor.
Original correct APEX crane and lifting equipment. You could use this to tow your other vintage vehicles or hire it for movie props.
Its very original could use a new set of running boards and a touch of TLC and would be a really cool truck to take to club meets. A new set of tyres. some wiper blades and a good run is all it should really need to get Club Rego.
We are really sort on space with the projects we have coming up and sadly this one needs to go to a home that will appreciate it and use it.
Part of the Bellarine Transport Museum Collection and currently housed at Faith Restorations. Check us out on Facebook. Faith Restorations is a car restoration shop on the Bellarine Peninsula that works with youth from the local secondary college and teachs them how to restore cars. We try to get the youth involved in all aspects of the process and give them something positive to work on as well as great skills they can use in the future. Our band of Misfit team leaders not only teach the kids how to work on cars but act as life coaches along the way. Look out for the next stage of Faith Restorations when we launch the AGG. All Girl Garage. The kids in this program will be working on their own cars to drive themselves. We are always looking for projects to work on. we quite often receive donations through our sponsor charity Ten 02 Incorporated. of money. tools and cars. Some of the surplus cars we simply try to wreck on sell on to raise funds. Some if good enough we fix and donate to families in the region who need a car but can't afford one.
