Roadster Pickup

Original cab. grill. windshield frame and stansions. Windshield header panel was cut down one inch. also lower stansions were cut down one inch at the bottom and reworked to fit cab correctly. Original windshield frame and stansions were also chopped down. Original cab was rust free. Bobby Walden reworked all the sheet metal on the cab and metal finished the entire cab completely. Entire truck cab and bed were all in bare metal and painted over with a black sealer. Zero filler. entire truck is straight sheet metal. Door wood and wood interior door panels and tack strip along top of rear cab and bed wood sides were custom made by Wood N Car. Long Beach CA. . who specializes in Woody's (in my opinion does the best work). Door gaps and fit are excellent. doors latch solid. Bed is stock length and is a reproduction by Mac's.

Chassis is original 34 frame. Model A rear cross member. Original front 34 wishbones. Reproduction heavy 32 axle. Forty Ford spindles. Linkin backing plates and brakes. original Buick brake drums (all four). Winter's quick change rear end (fully polished). Original 36 bells and wishbones and T-spring. Steering box F100 completely rebuilt with custom machined flange to fit in stock 34 frame bolt pattern. Forty steering wheel. 39 truck column. 1932 column drop. Original guages with extra set of gauges under dash for correct water. oil. and fuel readings.

Engine rebuilt 1947 flathead V8. Stock displacement and cam shaft. Baron heads. original rebuilt Scot blower. Top pulley was custom machined for correct size to achieve a 2% over driven for correct effeciency and horse power (advised by Jerry Jobe who also rebuilt the 97 carbs and distributor). I also added a 3rd lower pulley utilizing two Ford lower pulleys and machining them to fit all together so I could run a third belt for a mechanical fan. But also utilizing all Ford parts to run a stock 34 fan. alot of thought and machining went in to the design to run a mechanical fan set up. All alluminum on motor was fully polished and all steel parts on motor where chrome plated. The engine runs extremely smooth and has a great power band due to the blowe. Transmission is a T-5. S-10 5 speed trans. 39 shifter. hydraulic clutch. There is probably a lot of details I have left off. so please call me for more info.

I built this complete pick up about 2 1/2 years ago out of my shop Fullerton Fabrication. Brea CA. It has approx around a little over 400 miles on it. It has been well taken care of (you can see by the pics). It drives extremely well. and on the freeway you can cruise at 80 and still has a lot left in it. Extremely dependable and a blast to drive. I would not hesitate to drive it home if purchased. I would encourage you to inspect truck in person and drive it to really appreciate it. There was no expense spared in building this extremely rare pick up.

It is being sold at a fraction at what it cost to build it. a true collectors item. It is registered as a 1934 Roadster with original 1934 plates.

It is being sold locally so I have the right to end the auction at any time. I am selling it for my customer. so the payment will be going directley to him. Sold As Is. No Refunds.

Serious buyers please call Rudy Rodriguez @ (714) 992-4963 shop (714) 525-8705 after 7pm
