GENERAL:
This is a 1 owner survivor.
Dale Earnhardt has a Chevy dealership in Newton NC and in 1988. Dale Earnhardt picked this IROC to be his personal car and drove it back and forth to the track.
He used this car and put 8019 miles on it.
On 8/29/1989. this car was sold to the 1 st and only documented owner.
Only 3761 IROC Convertibles were produced in 1988.
TIRES/WHEELS:
The original rims are on the car but the tires are worn and will need to be replaced.
BODY:
No dents. damage or rust.
Original paint is faded as you can see but never been in an accident and all original panels.
Under the hood is complete and very original looking.
There are 2 tiny dings about the size of a pencil eraser. Shown here:
SPEEDOMETER / TACHOMETER DO NOT WORK
ENGINE / TRANS:
305 Tuned port TPI.
Original engine and it runs very good.
Sputters when cold for about a minute but then will run like like a dream.
Very smooth and very fun to drive. Overdrive trans shifts like a new one.
INTERIOR:
Very nice condition.
Driver's seat has a couple tears but the rest of the interior is in great shape.
Carpet could use a cleaning but is not torn.
Dash is in beautiful condition
CONVERTIBLE TOP:
Brand new and beautiful.
UNDERCARRIAGE:
This is a rust free car so the undercarriage is in great condition as well.

Areas that need attention:
This car is 29 years old so it has an issue here and there.
Speedo does not work nor does the tachometer
Drivers inside door handle does not open door. it needs to be opened from the outside.
Previous owner started to remove the door panel but never finished.
Car sputters when 1 st started cold but clears up and runs great.
I am sure that I am missing something but please expect a 29 year old car to need some minor repairs.
