1989 Dodge Ramcharger

    +This Ramcharger only has 26. 00 original miles +

+ It was purchased new in Virginia by a truck driver.   It was his pride and joy…. past registrations reveal that he had personal licenses plates on it. they reveal “MR 4X4 to give you an idea of how much he thought of this Ramcharger +

+ The mileage is also well documented through a number of previous inspections stickers +

History on this Car

+ It has obviously been garaged kept all of its life.    I don't like to over describe a vehicle but this truck is overall pretty much immaculate +

+ The original red interior and original Garnet Red Pearl Burgundy paint is nearly flawless. When I purchased this Ramcharger. the silver was believed to have been original paint but upon closer examination it has been reshot.   I remember that in those days that the factory silver paint was awful; it was terribly blotchy and almost transparent revealing the gray primer underneath.    I can't say for sure. but I would not be surprised if this truck had not had a factory recall on the paint.    Anyway. the silver paint is now beautiful and looks very much like original +

+ All of the LE trim is beautiful down the sides and the rear hatch décor panel is nearly perfect +

+ The chrome on the bumpers is like NOS as pictured…. the interior is simply gorgeous.   There is not much you can pick on this truck +

+++ OPTIONS included on this Car +++

+ Of course being a truck driver he had to have a CB radio. so I left the CB radio in the truck because it is part of its history. The folding antennae can be seen above the passenger's door.   It is mounted on a pivotal mount and can be easily put up or down +

+ Ramchargers were expensive vehicles in their day.   The original price tag on this Ramcharger was $21. 93 as shown on the original window sticker; they were not for the faint-hearted wallet in those days +

+ This Ramcharger was equipped with the highline LE version.   Most LE trucks were highly optioned with beautiful cloth interiors.   This one is optioned up with power steering. power windows. power door locks. tilt wheel. cruise control. AM/FM cassette with equalizer. part-time four wheel drive. nbsp; 3. 21 axle ratio with limited-slip differential. front bumper guards. carpeting. headliner. LE rear hatch panel. side moldings. and much more +

+ 318 5. 2L V8 and the 727 3 speed automatic is the powertrain.   The 318 is one of Chrysler's most durable and longest produced engines.   In 1989. the 318 was a throttle body engine and had roller bearing lifters so they were smooth running engines and some fuel economy around 18mpg could be accomplished by conscientious drivers.   The 727 trans is the most durable trans in the automotive field second to none.   The 318-727 is probably the best engine trans combo ever fitted together for durability and economy.   This one runs very smoothly and the 727 trans shifts nicely just like day one.  There are no shakes. rattles. vibrations. or whines in this truck whatsoever.   It's a real pleasure to drive +

+++ Condition of this Car +++

+ The interior still smells new.   If you remember these trucks when they were new. then you may still remember the unique smell that new Dodge trucks had in the day.   This truck still has that smell !!! +

+ This truck has never seen any rust nor off-road activity…. notice the factory crayon X mark that is still on the rear inner quarter panel that is pictured.   The undercarriage is very clean +

+ I guess that's about all I can tell you about this vehicle.   I hope the photos do the truck justice for it is a very righteous truck +
