Chevrolet : C-10 silverado

For sale! 1983 chevy truck shortbed. BORED THIS WINTER?? well i got an AWESOME project thats decently on its way. i started it in 2005 working just evenings and weekends on it. i'm roughly bout 2/3 done. i haven't lost interest i just ran out of time. the truck is partially disassembled at the moment.

The engine is rebuilt with a newer style block so it has the one piece rear seal. it has the EDELBROCK power package including the heads. intake and camshaft. the paper claimed it should have 410 hp. bored . 030. flat top pistons. MSD distributer. double roller timing chain. a full MARCH serpentine belt system with A/C. lots of polished aluminum. custom polished stainless steel exhaust. TH700R4 tranny with a B&M shift kit and B&M 2400 high stall torque converter. The Truck RUNS and DRIVES!

The WHOLE chassis is powder coated in a silver vein color including the NEW gas tanks. rear end. leaf springs. crossmembers. drive shaft and misc brackets everywhere. new bolts and polyurethane suspension bushings. The rear end is completely rebuilt with Detroit Truetrac limited slip diff and 4. 10 gears. many many new parts! it has a 5"/5" drop with tubulor control arms.

The body is a southern body (Arizona and Mexico) but currently in Canada now. so it was merely rust free. after picking at it with a key i got through one cab corner. i still replaced both just in case the other was almost through. the body work has been done from the cab foward. primed with PPG primer. all the old paint was removed and quality PPG epoxy primer was applied before any fillers. the right fender is new and the hood is a new GM hood. one boxside and front of box panel is also new from GOODMARK. the panels were only replaced because of damage. i don't like using to much body filler so i replaced them instead of fixing. the bottom of the cab is painted the new dodge charger/300C cream color. The right door and fender WILL need to be resprayed due to "solvent popping" Basically its tiny tiny bubbles in the clearcoat. it almost looks like very fine dust but onces you polish it they turn white. the left side still needs paint. the truck bed also needs the body work done and painted.

The interior is also painted with that same cream color as the bottom of the cab. the things missing is the upper dash. i was gonna replace that stuff anyway. i have new interior pieces like kick panels. A and B piller plastics. headliner plastic. the are all black so they need paint of vinyl wrap. it had a red interior but i was planning on changing it to the cream color. it has new carpet in (black). i built a custom sub box that fits behind the seat. its vinyl wrapped. pioneer sound system with a classic looking deck for an original look but you can plug in your mp3/ipod. USB or CD changer.
