Listing for sale after many years of inactivity a 1963 first year studebaker avanti ( note ) the circular headlights !! When first introduced in late 1962 this model broke many speed records for an american production car at the Bonneville salt flats !! But now you can own a piece of this nostalgia and feel the power at your fingertips !! No its not ready for the salt flats yet. but with some TLC she could be. This 63 example was part of an estate and has had a lot of heated storage but only occasional use. Yes it did at one time have a turbo but she was not a special "S" powered car-we do not believe. But as we have said a real presentable 50-year example of all american-true red. hite. nd blue AMERICAN MADE power with luxury !! Soooooooo check the pictures for yourself and bid accordingly on what may be the least abused or driven Avanti in the USA. Good Luck and Happy bidding

Apologies but this is revising as i have gathered more information on estate auction 1963 Avanti. the vin. does read 63 R 3195 and mileage reads 25. 00 which appears original. Last registration was 1980. it also came with an extra super--charge system which has not been located as of yet ! there is surface rust underneath car and hog ??s are weak. car runs and drives but needs brake work from sitting. Gauges and lights appear to work. /thanx for looking.
