1960 Travelall B100 Classic American Truck for sale
Current customer rating: (521 votes ) based onBEAUTIFUL. . . and possibly the nicest 1960 Travelall you'll ever see!
This truck is available again after I was able to clear up the bogus bids I recieved. So. I'm going to give this 1 more try.
The truck feature a perfect vintage look with a 2 tone. white over turquoise paint job with white white wall tires. This truck is turquoise (not blue). My digital camera can't seem to handle turquoise.
Seats are 2 tone gray. The vinyl is nice and has no tears. Based on the age of the truck I am guessing they are an older recover job. The headliner is excellent and it is a gray vinyl that matches the seats.
This truck was repainted because the original paint was faded. but this is a never rusted classic from southern Arizona. There are no chips or scratches in the paint. I bought this from Arizona and had it brought to Michigan. Since then. it has always been stored in a dry garage and only driven on nice days.
It is stock. top to bottom. except for the radio. It features the original seats. including the 3rd seat in the back.
The front and rear bumpers were re-chromed. The headlight and taillight bezels are re-chromed. The hubcaps were restored and re-chromed.
Windows have a nice green tint. All the glass is in great condition; no cracks. no hazing and no separation of the safety glass. The rubber window seals on the rear 1/4 glass have also been replaced.
Brakes shoes. the brake springs and clips. and the rubber brake hoses were all replaced in the last 3000 miles.
Under-hood has been professionally detailed and looks fantastic. You won't be ashamed to open the hood at the car shows. It has the original 240 CID. inline 6 cylinder with a 4 speed transmission which runs very smooth and quiet. The exhaust system is new. too. Tires are like new.
There is no power anything on this truck. but it is easy to drive. This steering is straight. nbsp;is not loose and does not wobble.
If you want a 100% American classic that no one else at the car show will have then you want this truck. Every time I take it out. people always take notice. It is a lot of fun.
My buy-it-now price is a couple thousand lower that what I've spent on this truck. I know a lot of guys are looking at $3000 trucks to fix them up. but you'll spend more on parts. paint and chrome over the next several years. and you'll still have a patched up truck. Instead. you can buy this solid original and be driving it tomorrow.
You'll like this truck! If you have any questions. please call before you buy (734-716-0200). I can arrange for you to test drive this truck. if it is convenient for you to get to the metro Detroit area.
This Travelall drives great. but with any vehicle this age. I recommend shipping or trailering this truck. Remember this is an old truck. top speed is about 65mph. Trucks of that time do not drive like modern trucks.
