We are pleased to offer this 2 owner Porsche 356 S model. We purchased this Porsche from the 2 nd owner who had the car for 2 years. before illness forced sale. This is an original Signal Red 356. We removed all interior. windows. doors. trunk. hood and engine. We then used rust protector. and sound proofing throughout. We were impressed how solid and rust free this 356 is. All floors are original. We didn't find any extensive rust. This is as solid and original 356 as you will find. The car has resided in California its whole life. and has obviously been garaged.

We replaced all weatherstripping. we had all original chrome-rechromed. new carpets. recovered front seats. replaced headliner. and much much more.

The engine has been rebuilt. the clutch is new. most suspension and bushing parts have been replaced. This is as nice a driving 356 as you will find. Engine purrs. transmission is smooth and correct. suspension is firm. and brakes work as they should. We have all original date stamped wheels that will come with the car. The wheels on the 356 at this time are replicas.

The first owner of this car was an engineer at a Aircraft Manufacturer in Los Angeles. He drove this car back and forth to work throughout his career. making sure that all oil changes and so forth were carried out in a timely manor. We have partial service history. we also have books and tools. This is without a doubt one of the nicest T 6 models available in todays market.

We stripped this Porsche. no rust. We removed all the interior as well as the original sound proofing. All original floors. quite remarkable for a Porsche of this age. It makes the restoration much more straight forward. Getting ready for preventative rust proofing and sound proof. Going thru engine as well.

Complete interior rust proofing completed. Also rust proofed under hood and rear trunk. Let it dry for a day or so and then sound proofing will begin.

Gas tank removed. Took pictures of the underside before Porsche going to body shop.

Back from body shop. Porsche looks great. It has been painted the original Signal Red with single stage paint. Body shop ( City Motors auto body and paint) completed an excellent repaint and color sand. We will be fitting the 356 with all new weatherstripping. and having all chrome/re-chromed. We are also fitting a new OEM style carpet kit from German Auto Tops. The front seats have been recovered and look factory. very good job by the upholsterer.
