Extremely reliable. great color combination. built correctly. and a dream to drive.
This is the 1983 FJ 60 Toyota Land Cruiser you will love forever.
1992 Camero First Gen LS 1 350 V 8 conversion installed by professional mechanic. and matted to a Toyota H 55. 5 speed transmission. All installed in 2001. including clutch. master cylinder. Stock transfer case and drive shafts. OME 2 inch lift. OME steering stabilizer. OME shocks. grease-able shackles. great ride. super tight.
Starts with one turn of the key. Idles perfectly. no miss. or sputter. The 350 was rebuilt prior to install. with less than 56. 00 miles. No drips. oil burn or any other issues. Anyone that knows this engine. knows what a reliable work horse it is. Clean install. no issues.
H 55 transmission allows this FJ 60 75 mph hwy speeds with ease. It glides.
Newer brakes. brake lines. brake cylinders. BF Goodrich Kevlar Muds. Aussie Interior in very nice shape. Seats have been completely rebuilt and sit tall and firm. Dyna Mat under interior floor makes for a quiet ride.
All glass is excellent. paint is original and in very nice condition. as are the original Toyota orange stripes. Zero rust anywhere. ZERO. This 60 is really nice.
There is no CD player or radio. there is AC and all components are there. but not hooked up. nor do I need it in Montana. But for those in a warmer climate. good to have. Heater works excellent. as we need that in Montana. Toyota Tach is not functional. everything else works excellent.
Aussie side mirrors. excellent stock Toyota bumpers. with end caps. in very good condition.
