1968 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe!!! 

   Here is a beautiful and rare Karmann Ghia Convertible that is in great condition and is rust free!!! This car was restored a few years ago and seldomly driven. At the time of restoration the car recived a nice red paint job on a beautiful straight rust free body. nbsp; and new interior.   This is a very nice Ghia to drive or take to your local car show. The cars underside is solid and rust free. These cars are excellent cars to drive and enjoy either daily or just for fun on the weekends. They are beautiful to look at. rare to see. nbsp; easy and even fun to maintain due to there simplicity. This is a beautiful car that will surely make its new owner very happy! Exterior: This great Karmann Ghia was treated to a a very nice paint job a few years ago and as you can see from the photos. it looks gorgeous. The body on the car is very nice and this ghia is NOT full of bondo!  One look into the nose and it appears to be an accident free car! This Ghia was refinished in its factory shade of Red and looks fantastic on the gorgeous lines of the Ghia body. A few of the seals are a little dry but still serve there function they just aren't BRAND NEW. The car has been driven to shows etc and has had a couple of spots touched up with touch up paint. The car looks as beautiful in person as it does in pictures. The chrome bumpers on the car are in nice shape for being original. however if you wanted to take this car to the next level rechroming the bumpers would be a nice touch. They look great from a 2 feet away but on closer inspection you can see the finer scratches over 45 years of use. The car is sitting on a beautiful set of chrome wheels wrapped in brand new White Wall Tires!!! Overall the exterior of the car is in very nice conditon!

Interior: The interior of this Karmann Ghia is in excellent condition!!! The interior was redone in the factory color scheme using all of the correct materials. The interior is absolutely beautiful with black seats and black carpet. The dashboard is finished in the wood laminate and has been topped with a new dashpad. Everything works on the dash except for the clock. The original radio actually WORKS!!! (mostly static)  The convertible top is in nice shape and has a full headliner that is in perfect shape as well.   The seats are free of  stains. tears and odors and are like new.   All of the gauges and lights work. The dash is free of cracks etc.   Overall. I would say that the interior is in excellent shape!!!

Engine: The 4 cylinder engine  starts up and runs like a top!!! The engine runs very smooth and moves this car along with ease.   The transmission also shifts through all of the gears with ease and the clutch feels great and has plenty of bite. This car comes with original owners manual. spare tire and jack. The brakes and suspension have also been gone through and the car rides. steers and stops nicely! This is an older restoration that has been used driven. The car is sitting on a beautiful set of chrome wheels wrapped in brand new White Wall Tires!!! The nose of the car looks to be accident free and even houses a period Michelin spare. This really is a great driving Karmann Ghia that can be driven daily or just for fun on the weekends. The car is turn key and ready to be driven. the only thing I can think of that doesn't work is the horn. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive.   This car however. shouldn't need anything for sometime! This car is ready to enjoy or show!

This is a great Karmann Ghias  and is truly ready to be shown. driven and enjoyed. This car is a true collector quality car and all the credit for this beautiful car must go to the previous owner and the restoration shop that did an excellent job on this car!
